What DAAM keeps, what it never keeps, and how to delete it.

• Photos are resized and re-encoded in your browser before upload, which removes location (EXIF/GPS) data.
• Photos are stored in a private bucket, read only to extract prices, and deleted after 30 days — or immediately if you ask.
• Names, phone numbers, CNIC numbers, card numbers and addresses are redacted from what we keep. A shop's business name and city are kept.
• If you tick “Help others by adding this price anonymously”, we store the product, quantity, unit price, city and the month — never the exact date, never your account, and never a person's name. You can delete your contributions.
• Daily limits use a device cookie and, if you sign in, your account. We do not sell personal data.
• Price alerts store the product, city and the price when you set them on your account; remove them anytime on the Alerts page.
• Photos are cleaned on our server too: location and camera data are removed again, and iPhone HEIC photos are converted to JPEG. If a receipt prints an FBR invoice number, we keep only a scrambled fingerprint of it (so the same receipt isn't counted twice), never the number.
